Hayat Kimya has been awarded the gold medal in the Investor of the Year in the Republic of Tatarstan category at the Investor of the Year competition. The company's production facility is located within the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
The finalists were awarded during a meeting of the Investors Club of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Hayat Kimya is a prominent manufacturer specializing in paper products for household and sanitary use. The company's diverse range of products is available in grocery stores under several well-known brands, including Bingo, Papia, Familia, Focus, Tena, Molped, Molfix, Joly, and Evony. These brands encompass a variety of items, from paper towels to detergents.
The Hayat Kimya plant, which has an annual production capacity of 140,000 tons, was put into operation in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in February 2015. Alabuga provided the necessary production site and engineering infrastructure, enabling the company to swiftly build its manufacturing facility. Today, Hayat Kimya is firmly established and has plans to further expand its manufacturing volume.
In 2024, the company launched a new automated production line for paper napkins, investing 31 million rubles. This achievement earned it the title of Investor of the Year in the prestigious competition.
Alabuga is the No. 1 special economic zone in Russia. The territory of the special economic zone encompasses approximately 40 unique import-substituting industries, which are leaders in their respective fields. To date, over 17,000 jobs have been created in the Alabuga SEZ. The total private investment volume stands at 171 billion rubles. In 2023, the residents of Alabuga generated revenue amounted to 179 billion rubles.
